**Some of the charts may represent rounded figures

With that in mind, we would like to share some of the information we have collected with your help:

Sexual Preference Data:

Furry Activities Frequencies:

** frequency = number of respondents who indicated they participated in these activities.
For example, over 300 of the 600 people who took the survey indicated they  "met with friends from the internet in real life"

Thank you again for your support with our survey. We will continue to process the data collected. If you have any questions or comments or would like to participate in future research please contact us at studyf3@gmail.com.

Thank you all for participating in our survey; we are overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and support we have recieved from members of the furry community. The validity of our results depend on your participation, and your time and honesty are very much appreciated. The survey is now closed.

We will be dedicating the coming weeks to analyzing the results and will post a summary of the data on wikifur, most likely as a link to our livejournal page: studyf3@livejournal.com. It will take several weeks to thoroughly analyze the large amount of data that we have obtained, but we will keep you posted via wikifur.

If you would like to participate in further research, please email us with your contact information: name, telephone number and email address. Please also include the city, state/region, and country you live in, as we may invite you to participate in future studies that we will be conducting in our lab. Also, feel free to email us with any questions or concerns that you may have.

Thank you again for all of your support!

Furry Survey

We are a team of researchers from the University of California, Davis, consisting of postdoctorate, graduate and undergraduate researchers. We are interested in learning about furries as individuals as well as furries as a community.

We have developed a survey that covers several aspects of the furry lifestyle, including relationships and personal experiences. Please note that all demographic information is used to prevent duplicate data and not for identification purposes. Also, all questions are optional and you can skip any questions you don't want to answer.

It is important to note that our study has been approved by IRB (The Institutional Review Board) and that every researcher is trained and certified in Human Research Protection. Only trained researchers will have access to the data and everything will be kept strictly confidential. No information will be traced back to participants, and participants will not be contacted unless they contact us first, directly through email.

Also, once all the responses have been gathered and analyzed, we will be posting a summary of the results. However, no personal or confidential information will be posted, that is, any free response questions will not be made public. All information will be summarized, pertaining to furries as a community, before being posted.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at: StudyF3@gmail.com
